Already boasting a very healthy sporting resume, Meg broke over 100 years of tradition by becoming the first female to play in the First XI of an Associated Public Schools cricket team in November 2006. Now in year 11 at Carey Grammar, the talented youngster has been a fixture in the schools boy’s team since
year 7.

At only 16 years of age, Meg has already been selected to participate in the Cricket Victoria High Performance Academy, (which she was selected as one of four Victorian Girls) and the VicSpirit Squad for the 2008/09 season. Capping off her 2008 season, Meg was selected in the VicSpirit team for the Spirit's opening double header against the South Australian Scorpions at the Adelaide Oval.

With Meg already showing tremendous talent in cricket, she has also starred in Hockey, being appointed co-captain of the Carey Baptist Grammar School Girls Hockey Firsts team (as a year 11 student). In 2008, Meg was also selected in the State team for Hawthorn Hockey Club, that won the Premiership of the State League 1 section, as they knocked off Essendon Ladies Hockey Club 3-2. Meg was an integral part of the side throughout the game and scored a much-needed goal.
