Originally from West Perth, Stephen is a lightening quick midfielder/defender who excelled in the 2008 Draft Camp, breaking the record for agility. With a strong left foot kick, Stephen is extremely versatile and capable of winning contested possessions. After a fantastic Under 18 Carnival, Stephen was deservedly awarder All-Australian honours.

Hill arrived on the AFL scene determined to let his football do the talking. It only took until round six for the football world to sit up and take notice after the emerging superstar won a NAB Rising Star nomination for his outstanding performance in the derby. Having been one of only seven Fremantle players to play in all 22 games during the 2009 season, Hill was awarded with the Beacon Award for the club’s best first year player.

With his quick pace and exceptional decision-making skills, Stephen will look to continue his good form with the Fremantle Football Club.
