2008 NAB AFL Draft Pick No. 22
A tall and athletic key position player, Jackson is a fierce competitor with an aggressive attack on the footy. Blessed with a great leap, Jackson is very versatile and can be influential in a number of positions, as he was for the Calder Cannons.
Jackson was a part of the 2008 Vic Metro team and was an AIS Academy Scholarship holder. Unfortunately Jackson missed the second half of the 2008 season with a knee injury, but was given the all-clear from Port Adelaide to be major part of their spine.
In round six of the 2009 season, after 10 months on the sidelines, Trengove made his long-awaited return to football with a half for the Port Adelaide Magpies reserves in the SANFL.
Quick and with good endurance, Trengove is strong in one-on-one contests and can play at either end of the ground or in the ruck.
