Tigerland trio to roar on debut

Stride are proud to announce that emerging trio Alex Rance, Tom Hislop and Robin Nahas have been selected to make their senior-level debuts for the Richmond Football Club in the round two fixture against Geelong at Skilled Stadium.

Alex Rance was originally selected by Richmond at pick 18 in the 2007 National Draft from Swan Districts. Alex’s inclusion will provide Richmond with added flexibility as he can play as a key or running defender as required.  Alex is an aggressive competitor who is rarely beaten in any one-on-one contests.

Tom Hislop was drafted in the 2008 National Draft at pick 58 after spending two seasons with Essendon and playing seven senior games.  Tom is a hard-at-the-ball midfielder who enjoys the contest and will add strength and depth to the Richmond midfield.

Robin Nahas was selected in the 2008 Rookie Draft and has made an immediate impact at Punt Road.  After an impressive preseason Robin has been elevated to the senior list and will make his debut for the club this week.  Robin is a lightening quick forward who’s evasive and silky skills saw him kick 50 goals for VFL side Port Melbourne last season.

Stride would like to wish the boys good luck in their debuts for the Richmond Football club this week.
