The second Stride client to be nominated for the NAB AFL Rising Star award in 2008 is Shaun Grigg of Carlton.

Shaun was selected by the Blues in the 2006 draft at pick number 19 from North Ballarat Rebels after playing his junior footy at Redan.

He made his debut in Round 14 of 2007 against Melbourne and his nomination winning performance against Port Adelaide on Saturday was his 22nd AFL appearance.

Shaun had 25 possessions on the weekend along with six marks, seven inside 50 entries and a goal to cap off a memorable victory and earn his chance to be crowned the AFL’s rising star for 2008.
