Congratulations to Kangaroos defender Michael Firrito who plays his 100th AFL game this weekend against Brisbane at Gold Coast Stadium in Carrara.

Michael was elevated from the rookie list in 2003 and made his debut in the same year. He was drafted from Box Hill Hawks via Eastern U18s.

Playing predominantly as a defender, Michael often gets the big jobs on opposition key forwards and is regarded as one of the toughest defenders in the AFL.

The team at Stride would like to congratulate Michael on a wonderful achievement and wish him all the best for the Kangaroos run into the finals and beyond.
