2006 NAB AFL Draft Pick No. 12
2007 AFL Debut
Originally recruited from East Point, North Ballarat, James is a quick and athletic defender and also the nephew of former St Kilda star Danny Frawley. In 2006, James represented the Vic Country U18's and his performance at the NAB AFL Draft Camp was highlighted by a sub 3 sec in the 20m sprint test (2.98sec).
James worked hard over the 2007 pre-season and was rewarded by making his AFL debut in Round 9 against the Kangaroos. He has a high level of commitment and good work ethic as well as the ability to play as both a forward or defender.
Frawley completed his second year at senior level in 2008, playing 11 games and managed 20 games during the 2009 season.
The Melbourne fans will no doubt see Frawley continue to develop his game at senior level and will watch him become a valuable addition to the Demons in the future years.
